The Marina and Martese Cruises are closed for the season. Clear Lake E-Bike Rentals are still running on full cylinders… or… batteries!

2024.07.31 Clear Lake Marina Update:

We are heartbroken to announce that as of July 31, 2024, The Martese Cruises are shut down for the remainder of the 2024 season.
The Clear Lake Marina cannot provide Martese Cruises or watercraft rentals in 2024, due to Riding Mountain National Parks’ efforts to mitigate and potentially eradicate zebra mussels in Clear Lake.

Our E-Bike Rentals are another great way to explore this beautiful park, and in the coming days we will begin to provide the following services:

  1. At the Dock licensed beverage and appetizer service on the Martese.

  2. Inflatable party island rentals for use in the Clear Lake Marina bay.

These are no consolation for our regular services, but rather a simple and earnest effort to keep our dedicated and deserving staff employed to the end of summer.

Why are there no rentals or cruises?

The watercraft restrictions put in place by Parks Canada are measures to prevent the spread of and potentially eradicate a zebra mussel population in Clear Lake. We encourage you to visit Riding Mountain National Park’s website to learn more about the situation:

Although 2024 has been a season with some sad and extraordinarily difficult decisions, we are keeping our eyes on the light at the end of the tunnel. Clear Lake’s 2024 watercraft restrictions are temporary, and as we work through this challenging time we look forward to continue providing visitors with watercraft based fun and memories in the not-too-distant future.
